Bec is a Yoga-Alliance, Experienced Vinyasa & Prenatal Yoga Teacher.
Voted Best of Bermuda 2017, Bec is passionate about the ancient practice of yoga and bringing all of its benefits to her students. With a focus on safe alignment, Bec helps her students to build mobility and strength, rehabilitate injury and develop a sense of well-being. She has worked extensively with clients suffering from a range of injuries, as well as anxiety & depression. Bec is also a birth doula with a strong understanding of the pelvic floor, making her a safe and reliable choice for prenatal yoga.
Bec teaches Yoga & Alchemy Stretch - a class developed to follow high intensity training, to soothe tired muscles, increase mobility & flexibility, aid in full-body recovery and to balance your workout regime.
Megan first found yoga in 2011 while at university. Since that first yoga class Megan's practice has grown steadily, and once completing university, she found yoga helped bring balance to her life in the 'real world'. It was the chance to decompress and connect with your breath and your body that drew Megan to her mat each day.
Since the start of her yoga journey, Megan has sought a deeper understanding of her practice, she received her RYT-200 certification in July 2016, and has become a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher. Looking for ways to compliment her yoga practice while building strength, she found Pilates. Megan recently completed the Balanced Body Pilates Mat Training in April 2017 in Toronto, Ontario. Megan teaches Pilates and multiple styles of yoga classes throughout the Bermuda fitness community. She enjoys sharing her love of movement through teaching both yoga and Pilates. Come unwind and build strength through her classes!
Jeron is a Personal Trainer and Exercise Therapist certified through International Sport Science Association. Before he was a Personal Trainer, he taught numerous group Muay Thai and boxing classes. He left his previous job in search of a more fulfilling and rewarding career.
He has a passion for Muay Thai, kickboxing, boxing and various forms of martial arts. He has trained in these areas for nearly 10 years, even traveling to Thailand, the birthplace of Muay Thai, to advance his knowledge in the ancient art. He is an active competitive fighter, performing in numerous bouts of Muay Thai, kick boxing and boxing. His fight record is 7-4 and he has trained and fought all over the world. Most recently, Jeron travelled to Las Vegas in April 2017 to fight for, and win, a dual state Muay Thai title in Phoenix, Arizona.
He is a certified Muay Thai coach under Professor Isreal Gomez, former training partner and coach of UFC legend Anderson Silva. Jeron is also a Level 3 Muay Thai coach under the famous Ajarn Buck Grant of the Muay Thai university and a coach of Kru Sean Conception of Alliance Muay Thai gym in Las Vegas.
Through his years of training for competitive fighting, Jeron has coached a number of Muay Thai champions and trained numerous students under the arts of Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing. His love for martial arts prompted him to pursue a career in personal training and coaching. With his vast knowledge and experience in martial arts, he sets to bring a new look to fitness.
Meaghan is a graduate of George Brown College in Toronto, where she completed a pre-med course on her journey to becoming a registered Health Practitioner. With over a decade of experience, an ongoing thirst for knowledge, Meaghan is able to help you make dietary and lifestyle choices that will have profound and long lasting effects on your quality of life.
She has extensive experience in Plant-based meal preparation and meal planning. Cooking demonstrations and classes are where she finds the greatest joy with the ability to pass on her passion and knowledge to everyday people seeking positive change and balance. Currently, she is a Holistic Nutritionist and the friendly face you see each time you come into Alchemy Studio. Meaghan is happy to assist you in any way to make your experience in the studio a positive one; whether its booking a class or discussion about healthy lifestyle.
